Are you tired of lockdown, craving a short-term mission trip, or looking for an action-packed holiday?

Introducing Mini MAD (aka MAD Schoolies)

This program covers all these bases, plus more! Come on out to Mountain Trails for an experience like no other. Frolic around our 9500 acres, sharing the love of Jesus on horseback, dirt bikes, in a cave or 10m in the air on the high ropes course.

Mini MAD is designed to equip you with the skills and experience to serve on our Summer Camp Program. And you don’t need to commit to the whole year if you are undergoing tertiary studies or other pursuits in 2022.

Unlike our MAD program, Mini MAD only runs for 2 months to give you a shorter intensive option and a taster into life at Mountain Trails, while allowing you to continue with study or work for the remainder of the year.

Mini MAD will commence in December where you will gain qualifications in:

  • First Aid
  • Bronze Medallion
  • Child Protection skills
  • Food Service & Handling

You will also go through an onsite orientation of our facilities and activities, and be trained in behaviour management and spiritual leadership. This will involve being on-site at Mountain Trails for about a week, plus some teaching will be online.

After all that is complete, we will have a wild and wacky January with 4 weeks of camp, telling kids the Message of Jesus, seeing them respond and discipling them on the Journey.

If that doesn’t excite you, I don’t know what will!
